Post justification

Is there any, for this? Only just. The Brimstone Moth is a notorious media tart in these parts. It is the lepidoptera equivalent of the z-list celeb who'll attend the opening of an envelop if free-nosh and paparazzi are thrown in.

Here it is, yet again. The only difference, and the feeble justification, is that this photo was taken outside and mid-afternoon. This one was on the wing, which is why I spotted it, then settled on the underside of a bag of compost we didn't get around to using this summer and which is currently propping up the smaller of the garden sheds.
Any way the cold, wind and rain we've had in lieu of a summer means this is the best I can do on the bug front at the moment. There was a white-shouldered house moth on one of the kitchen curtains this morning but I'm even more bored with them than I am with the Brimstone. And that's almost as bored as I am with this weather.
